This shop sells items handmade by refugees. About 80% of purchase price is returned to the Maker.
Thank you for visiting The Dignity Centre Shop.
We have now closed the shop to make final preparations for our GRAND OPENING on the 23rd of September 2019.
We are improving the website and building up our stock levels. The amazing men and women in our sewing cooperative in Nicosia are busy working on new patterns and designs including a fantastic Christmas range.
We look forward to welcoming you on 23rd of September 2019. In the meantime, please sign up to receive our latest news on new ranges and our opening.
Thank you for your support, it means a lot to the people we are supporting on this venture.

The Dignity Centre in Nicosia is a community space where everyone is welcome. We have a sewing room, class room, child friendly space, laundry room, games room and kitchen. All items are handmade with a lot of care. We run 3 sewing classes a week in order to improve people’s skills and ensure our products are the best quality. Every item sold means the maker will be paid for the hard work about the 80% of purchase price, depending on the variable production costs of the single item.
We have regular meetings to discuss production, new ideas and new products and everyone has involvement in decision making.
The Centre also has a dedicated child friendly space run by our volunteers. Anyone using the Centre can leave their children knowing they will be entertained and looked after. This is especially useful for the parents using the sewing room.
